1. Remove Protection
Before using the robot vacuum cleaner, remove the protective film or strip from the robot and charging base.

2. Install Side Brush
Your robot comes with two side brushes. One side brush needs to be installed on the bottom of the robot. The other one is a replacement part. To install, push the side brush into the square peg until it clicks into place.

3. Set-Up the Auto-Empty Charging Base

1. Connect the power cord to the power port on the back of the charging base. Store the power cord in its storage slot.
2. Place the auto-empty charging base on a level, hard surface against a wall in a central location that can easily be accessed by your robot vacuum. Remove any objects that are closer than 1.5m from the front and 0.5m from either side of the charging base.
   NOTE: Do not cover the charging base location sensors with any object or furniture.
3. Plug the power cord into a power supply. Ensure that it is located in a place with a good Wi-Fi connection.
   NOTE: The charging base must be plugged in at all times for the robot to find the charging base.

4. Charge the Robot
1) Connect Robot to Charging Base
NOTE: Ensure the robot is fully charged before first use.
NOTE: The robot will automatically return to the charging base when the remaining battery level is low.

After connecting the charging base to the power supply, place the robot in front of the charging base. Align the charging contact pins on the robot with the charging contacts on the charging base. The robot will turn on automatically.

NOTE: Ensure that there is nothing obstructing the connections which may prevent charging.

When the robot is attached to the charging base, the status indicator light on the charging base will be off. When the robot is not attached to the charging base, the status indicator light will be solid white.

2) Robot Status Indicator Light
When the robot is charging, the status indicator light will pulse white and orange. Once fully charged, the indicator light will illuminate white steadily.

Indicator Light Status:

White = Fully charged

Orange = Low power

Red = Error

Pulsing White/Orange = Charging

APP Set-up

1. Download the APP and Register
Search “Vacmaster” to download the App from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Or scan the QR code.

Open the App to register an account.

2. Pair your Robot
NOTE: The Vacmaster robot vacuum cleaner only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks and is compatible with Apple iOS 13.0 and above & Android 7.0 and above. To ensure better connection quality, turn on the Bluetooth of your mobile phone.

1. Connect your smartphone to Wi-Fi network.
2. Launch the Vacmaster app on your smartphone.
3. Press and hold the power button and home button at the same time for 3 seconds until you hear the voice prompt. The two indicator lights of the robot start to flash slowly, indicating that the robot is ready for pairing.
4. Go to the home page of the app. Tap "+" in the upper right corner of the page to enter the “Add Device” page.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect with the robot.

3. Reset the Wi-Fi Connection
If the App cannot connect to the robot, try to reset the Wi-Fi connection.
Press and hold the power button and home button at the same time for 3 seconds until you hear the voice prompt. The indicator light starts to flash slowly, indicating that the robot is ready for pairing.

Emptying the Dust Bin and Cleaning the Filter

CAUTION: Do not use the robot when the dust bin is full.

1. Press the dust bin release button and slide out the dust bin from robot.
2. Open the dust bin and empty its contents. Use a cleaning brush to gently remove any remaining debris from the inside of the bin and the front filter. NOTE: Do not wash the dust bin.
3. Close the dust bin cover. Press the filter cover latch to open the filter cover. Remove the filter.
4. Clean the filter with the cleaning tool supplied. Rinse the filter with clean water. NOTE: Allow filter to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinstalling.
5. Reinstall the filter. Close the filter cover. NOTE: Place the cleaning tool back into its storage slot.
6. Slide the dust bin into the robot.

CAUTION: Do not use the robot when the dust bin is full.

Cleaning the Brushroll and Brushroll Cover

1. Press the two release tabs to unlock the brushroll cover.
2. Lift the brushroll to remove.
3. Use the cleaning tool to remove debris from the brushroll. Carefully cut away any hair wrapped around the brushroll with the tool's blade. For stubborn hair, remove the brushroll bearing to access and clear the gap.
4. Clean the brushroll cover.
5. Reinstall the brushroll by inserting the fixed protruding end first and then press it into place.
6. Align the brushroll cover on the robot and press down until you hear a 'click'.

Cleaning and Replacing the Side Brush

1. Remove the side brush by pulling upwards.
2. Remove any hair or debris that is wrapped between the main unit and the side brush.
3. Use a damp cloth to remove dust from the brush. NOTE: Only use the side brush when completely dry.
4. Re-install the side brush.

Cleaning the Wheels

1. Hair and dust can accumulate in the front swivel wheel. To clean, carefully pry out the swivel wheel using a small screwdriver or similar tool.
2. Remove hair and dirt from the wheel. Reattach the wheel to the robot by clicking it into place.
3. Wipe and clean the drive wheels with a soft dry cloth.

Cleaning the Sensors, Charging Contact Pins and Charging Contacts

For best performance, clean the sensors and charging pins regularly. Wipe and clean with a soft dry cloth.

Replacing the Dust Bag, and cleaning the Dirt Port and Filter

The status indicator light of the charging base shows the following status for the dust bag.

Indicator Light Status

Pulsing White = Emptying dust.

Solid Red = Dust bag is missing or top cover is not closed.

Slowly Flashing Red = Dust bag needs to be replaced.

1. Open the top cover of the charging base.
2. Grasp the dust bag handle and lift to remove the dust bag. The dust bag handle's clip will automatically seal the bag, preventing dust from escaping.
3. Discard used dust bag.
4. Wipe the charging base filter and dirt port with a soft dry cloth.
5. Install a new dust bag. Push the clip along the guide rail.
6. Close the top cover of the charging base.

Cleaning the Air Duct

If the air duct is blocked, the charging base indicator light will rapidly flash red. Clean it according to the following steps.

1. Turn the charging base on its side.
2. Use a screwdriver to remove the screws of the air duct cover. Remove the cover and inspect the air duct for any blockages. Clean any debris found within the air duct.
3. Reinstall the air duct cover with a screwdriver.
