01 Setting Up
Assembling the Handle Shafts
1. Insert the upper and lower handle shafts securely into the middle handle shaft and ensure the locking buttons are fully engaged and locked into position.
Attaching the Auxiliary Handle2. Loosen the handle adjustment knob anti-clockwise and remove it from the auxiliary handle.
3. Pull the ends of the auxiliary handle to extend it and slide it over the handle holder.
4. Adjust the auxiliary handle to desired operating position.
5. Insert the handle adjustment knob and turn it clockwise to tighten with moderate force. If it feels too tight, turn the handle adjustment knob anti-clockwise to loosen.Fitting the Safety Guard
6. Position the safety guard over the trimmer head and onto rear of the motor housing.
7. Secure the guard with screws using a screwdriver.Edging and Trimming

02 Maintenance
Releasing More Trimmer Line
This trimmer features a bump line feed. In order to release more trimming line, firmly tap the bump cap on the trimmer head while the trimmer is running.
This will automatically advance a new length of trimmer line and trim the line to the correct length. A firm but gentle motion should be used when tapping the bump cap on the lawn.
This advancing process may be repeated as often as
necessary. Never try to advance the line on a hard surface.Replacing the Spool and Line

Battery and Charger Maintenance
1. Keep the battery and charger clean and clear of debris. Do not allow foreign material into the recessed cavity or on the contacts. Wipe with a dry cloth. Do not use solvents, water, or place in wet conditions.
2. Always unplug the charger when there is no battery in it.
3. Check that the charger and battery contacts have not been shorted by debris.
4. Always store away from metal objects which could create a connection with the terminals.
5. Always remove the battery when storing the blower and keep in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight.
6. Store the battery only within a temperature range between 0°C and 25°C.
7. We recommended storing the lithium-ion battery in a 30%-50% charged condition.

01 How do I release more trimmer line?

02 Why is my grass trimmer not working at full power?
The air vents may be blocked with grass trimmings. Clean the air vents to restore performance.

03 Why is my trimmer making a loud noise?
This could be one of three reasons:
1. The line spool is dirty. Check and clean if it is.
2. The spool is defective. Replace the spool if it is defective. Watch the video in the maintenance section above to see how.
3. There is a problem with the motor. Please contact us.

04 The trimmer isn't cutting very well. Why?
1. Check to see if the trimmer line is worn or damaged, and replace if it is.
2. There is insufficient line. Release more line.
3. The trimming lines are not guided out of the spool correctly. Remove the line spool and rethread the trimming lines through the eyelets. Check the line ends are not held in the parking slots on spool.
Replace the spool if necessary.
