Celebrating 20 Years of Cleva

This year marks a special anniversary for us, as we celebrate 20 years of Cleva! We’ve come a long way since our inception and what a thrilling journey it has been.

Cleva was born in 2004 by two people who shared a passion for building machines from scratch.

Driven by teamwork and a staunch dedication to quality and innovation, the company quickly established itself as one of the world’s leading manufacturers of wet and dry vacuum cleaners.

In the years that followed, the company continued its impressive growth trajectory, increasing its workforce and expanding its production facilities to manage increasing global demand.

This investment led to a diversification of the product range to include dust extractors, vacuum cleaners and air products. And later, lawn mowers and garden power tools.

New offices were set up in the US and Europe to ensure that these growing markets were serviced correctly, with a particular focus on sales support.

Today, Cleva operates two state-of-the-art production facilities and employs over 1,700 people worldwide, including over 200 in research and development.

Currently, we operate one of the largest manufacturing plants for wet and dry vacuum cleaners and for electric lawnmowers in the world.

To date, we have designed, manufactured, and sold more than 65 million vacuum cleaners and garden appliances around the world.

Our mission remains, to use our manufacturing expertise to make machines that offer better solutions, available to everyone. No over-engineering. No extravagant price tags. 

This mission is the heart of our two brands Vacmaster® and LawnMaster®.
